1. What we collect

1. When you book or text us: your name, phone number, email (if you give it), vehicle, package and add-ons, drop-off day and time, any notes you write, and whether you checked the veteran or teacher discount.
2. When you pay: payments run through SwipeSimple. You enter your card details on SwipeSimple's page, not ours, and we never see or store your full card number. We see the payment amount, your name, and whether it went through.
3. When you visit the site: like any website, our host (Netlify) automatically logs basic technical info such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested.
4. Google Analytics: we use Google Analytics to see how people find and use our site, such as which pages get visited, how long people stay, the type of device, and general location (city level). It uses cookies to do this. We don't use it to identify you, and we don't run ads. You can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
5. On your own device: if you leave the booking form to build a custom detail, your browser temporarily remembers what you typed so you don't have to start over. It stays on your device and clears when you close the tab.

2. How we use it

1. To schedule your detail, confirm your booking, and text you the drop-off address.
2. To contact you about your appointment, your deposit, changes, or questions about your vehicle.
3. To process payments and keep basic records of the work we did.
4. To apply veteran or teacher discounts. We check your ID in person and don't keep a copy of it.
5. We don't send marketing texts or emails unless you ask for them.

3. Who we share it with

1. We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
2. We use a few services to run the business, and they handle your information only to provide their service: Google (our booking calendar and confirmation emails), Microsoft Outlook (our business email), SwipeSimple (payments), Netlify (website hosting), Google Analytics (site traffic), and Google Fonts (the fonts on this site).
3. We may share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights in a dispute over a service.

4. Photos of your vehicle

1. We sometimes take before and after photos of vehicles we detail and may post them on our website or Instagram.
2. We never post your name, face, or anything that identifies you without asking. We avoid showing license plates.
3. Don't want your vehicle shown? Tell us when you book or any time after, and we won't post it or we'll take it down.

5. How long we keep it and your choices

1. We keep booking and payment records as long as we need them to run the business and for tax and accounting purposes.
2. You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you. Call, text, or email us and we'll take care of it, unless we're required to keep a record.
3. We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or email system is perfectly secure.

6. Kids, changes, and contact

1. This site is for adults booking service on their vehicles. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
2. We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
